The NE(TB) -type plate chain bucket elevator is one of the most widely used vertical conveying devices. It is suitable for the vertical conveying of medium and large-sized materials with high abrasiveness (such as limestone, cement clinker, gypsum, and lump coal), with material temperatures below 250℃.
Working Principle of NE Series Plate Chain Bucket Elevator:
The NE series plate chain bucket elevator operates on a gravity-induced discharge principle. The material is fed into the buckets by gravity, and the buckets are driven upward by the chain. When the buckets reach the top and begin to curve over the head sprocket, the material is discharged by gravity. This series of bucket elevators offers a wide range of models and capacities, high production efficiency, low energy consumption, and is gradually replacing other types of elevators. The elevator features a fully enclosed casing, low chain speed, minimal material return, low power loss, low noise, and long service life.
Main Features of NE Series Plate Chain Bucket Elevator:
- Wide Range of Applications: This type of elevator can handle a wide variety of materials, including powdery, granular, and lumpy materials, as well as abrasive and high-temperature materials (up to 250℃).
- High Conveying Capacity: The conveying capacity can reach 15-800 cubic meters per hour.
- Low Energy Consumption: The elevator uses gravity-induced discharge and a dense arrangement of large-capacity buckets, resulting in low chain speed and high conveying capacity. There is almost no material return, so the drive power is small. The theoretical shaft power is 25%-45% of that of a ring chain elevator.
- Long Service Life: The elevator uses gravity-induced discharge, which means there is little squeezing and collision between materials during feeding, conveying, and discharging. This prevents wear from abrasive particles. The conveying chain is made of high-strength, wear-resistant plate chain, which extends the service life of the chain and buckets.
- High Lifting Height: The elevator has a low chain speed and stable operation, and it uses high-strength, wear-resistant plate chain, so it can achieve a high lifting height.
