We are pleased to announce the successful on-site installation of two Buried Scraper Conveyors (En Masse Conveyors) for a major client in the chemical industry. Recent site feedback and imagery confirm that the equipment layout is rational and the installation process has adhered to strict quality standards, laying a solid foundation for stable future operation.
Technical Advisory: Prevention of Structural Deformation
As part of our commitment to equipment longevity and safety, we wish to issue a specific technical reminder regarding the installation process.
Unless specific working conditions require it, we strongly advise against the integral lifting of the conveyor after general assembly.
Due to the considerable length and relatively thin wall structure of the buried scraper conveyor casing, lifting the machine as a whole leads to concentrated stress points. This creates a high risk of local casing deformation, which negatively impacts the running clearance of the scraper chain.
Potential consequences of integral lifting include:
Disruption of scraper running gaps.
Increased risk of chain jamming and off-tracking/deviation.
Latent defects that complicate commissioning and future maintenance.
Recommended Installation Protocol
To ensure structural safety and operational reliability, we recommend that all clients adhere to the following guidelines:
Segmented Transport: Prioritize transporting the equipment in sections and performing splicing/assembly on-site.
Scientific Lifting: Strictly follow the provided installation manual. When lifting is necessary during the assembly process, ensure hoisting points are arranged rationally to distribute load evenly.
